Altar Society    
     
 
 To All Women of St. Januarius' Parish
  
     

 
It seems that many people have no idea what the Altar Society does and how
  
 
important the Altar Society is to the church. We are one of the main fund raising
 
 
organizations of the parish. We organize and carry out the following activities:
  
     
 
  1. Spaghetti Dinner  
  2. Roast Pork Dinner  
  3. Flea Market  
  4. Ladies Luncheon  
  5. St. Nicholas Celebration (with the Parish Council)  
  6. First Holy Communion Refreshments  
  7. Any other functions that require our assostance  
 
     
 
The Altar Society is seeking new members and we invite you to join this very
  
 

acitve and important group. The dues are only $3.00 a year and we have 3 or

  
 
4 meetings a year. Most women are ready helping at these events, but we would
  
 
like to have more women attend meetings to continue ideas and become involved
  
 
in the planning of these events. We are looking for input by women of all ages for
  
  fresh ideas.  
     
  Meetings dates are always announced by Father and also appear in the church bulletin.
